In the mystical Emerald Valley, Archmage Verdania Emeraldweave founded what would become the most prestigious magical institution in the realm. Starting with just twelve students and three faculty members, the academy was built around the ancient Drake's Roost, where Ember's ancestors once nested.

The founding charter emphasized the balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, a principle that remains central to our education today.

As enrollment grew to over 200 students, the university underwent its first major expansion. The magnificent Grand Athenaeum was constructed using enchanted stone that naturally preserves magical texts, while the first student dormitories were built into the living trees of the valley.
